WEEK ONE HUNDRED TWO - GOOD STUFF

Hello!

Some great things happened this week!

We finally were able to get in contact with Samadi who we've had very little contact with for the last while. We stopped by his house and talked for a few minutes. We had dropped off a Persian Book of Mormon back in May, and we asked him how much he was able to read. He told us that he only has twenty pages left.

Let me repeat that. HE HAS ALMOST READ THE WHOLE BOOK.

We were very happy about that! He told us that he was very happy to see us, and asked us to stop by in the mornings.

We had a great lesson with Pearly last night! She's been having some struggles recently, so we tried to see what we could do to help out and support her. She still wants to be baptized, but she's trying to work on setting a date so her daughter can be there.

We helped Geri clean her house this week, and then had a lesson with her. Brother Choy (our Ward Mission Leader) invited her to take the lessons with the end goal of being baptized. She said yes! We're hoping to start teaching her seriously this week.

Sorry for the short email, but I hope you all have a wonderful week!
Elder DeWitt
